DXR SOIL

DXR SOIL is a highly specialized soil remediation formulations containing bacteria hydrocarbon digestants (microbes).

This product was developed to remediate contaminated surface and sub-surface soils impacted with Petroleum Hydrocarbons (PHCs) in the F1 to F4 range, Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene and Xylenes (BTEX), Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs), transformer oil and hydraulic oil.

Soil remediation technologies can be generally classified as in situ (treated in place) or ex situ (treated on-site and off-site in bio piles). The blended formulations can be introduced directly into sub-surface soils through a series of injection well to successfully remediate the target contaminants of concern (COCs).

Injecting the formulations under pressure or by gravity or both will depend on the site geology. This highly effective and non-toxic formulation has also been successful in remediating PHCs, BTEX, PAHs and other petroleum hydrocarbon impacted groundwater during the treatment of the sub-surface soils.

The DXR SOIL formulation can also be used with related bioremediation technologies such as phytoremediation, landfarming, bioaugmentation, and biostimulation to accelerate the treatment timelines Site specific bench tests should be conducted to determine the variations in the required volumes of the formulations when used with other bioremediation technologies.
